Although there are different ways and different method on securing your browser from unauthorised users from using your Pc to access some sites, The main reason why i like securing or password my browser was that it was only Google chrome i password and the reason is that when some one logins or visit some other websites his/her personal information and the History of those websites won't be stored on my Google chrome because it will be automatically sync when next time i login my Gmail account on my browser.

Although it depends on the reason you are going to password your browser but that's my own reason which i have mentioned above, it's only for Google Chrome.
