Hardware Of Galaxy Note II
When it comes to Samsung, the obvious hardware used is plastic. But, its other features hide it all. It has got a quad-core e 1.6 GHz Cortex-A9 with Mali 400 GPU. The processor runs every application smoothly without a single lag. The 5.5 inch display houses a 1280 X 720 pixel resolution which is around 267 ppi. With 151.1 x 80.5 x 9.4 mm dimension, it’s quite bigger for li’l hands.

No doubt the performance makes the battery life harder. So, to compensate it Samsung has provided a big 3100 mAh. Once charged it goes up to one and half days with Wi-Fi switched ON permanently. It comes with a 2GB RAM and memory expandable up to 64 GB with options varying from 16/32/64.
The most attractive thing on Note-II is S-Pen. Jotting down a note is very simple. You just need to pull up the S-Pen and a Quick Note app will automatically pop-up. The S-Pen made my hands look pretty unsophisticated with so many features equipped with S-Pen.
Galaxy Note-II comes with a nice camera too. It has 8MP camera in the back and a 1.9 MP in the front. It records 1080 video at 30fps. I really loved to click pictures with the Galaxy Note-II.
Software Of Galaxy Note II
Galaxy Note-II comes with Android Jellybean v4.1.1 out of box with upgradable version up to v4.1.2. I hope it will also get the future Android OS updates. You get full suite of Google apps. And if you haven’t yet tasted Google Now, then Note-2 is a treat for you. It has faster voice recognition and manageable predictive capabilities.
With so many softwares just for a single S-Pen, this article won’t be enough to wrap up the S-Pen. But, there is a bunch of motion software which excited me. Put two fingers/thumbs on an image in the gallery and move the screen backward and forward to zoom in and zoom out. Simple but elegant.
User Interface Of Galaxy Note II
Galaxy Note-2 is powered by Samsung’s indigenous UI-Touchwiz. It comes with two modes- Easy mode for those unfamiliar with Android and Standard mode for those familiar with Android. In the startup phone has a nice help guide. It has a famous multi-window function, which splits the screen into two halves and lets you work on two different apps concurrently.
Conclusion
I have been using smartphones since 2010 and I found it worth buying. Those who can dig their pockets deep will never mind buying it. And the big price tag is worth the technical specifications.
